Inspired by the words of 15th century French philosopher Montaigne, ‘When I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pastime to her more than she is to me?’, IOCCT is a quirky, eclectic journey through life of the American house cat — the story of Jane and Muriel and their cats Frankie and Browser. Jane’s cat Frankie goes missing leaving Jane heartbroken and lost. She does whatever is necessary to find Frankie, even hiring a cat detective. Through her story and the loving story of Browser the library cat, we discover how close we have become with our favorite pets and the lengths we will go to bring them back into our lives.
With a background working as a TV reporter for National Danish television, Signe Veje first came to the US in 2008 when granted a research scholarship with UC Berkeley. She now lives in Los Angeles currently pursuing a MFA degree with the New York Film Academy’s Producing for Film & Television program at Universal Studios.
