Whilst relaxing in a country mansion after a friendly game of poker, three friends embark on a simple wager in order for Jeremy to try and win back some money. The rules are simple, he must spend the night in a supposedly haunted room and in the morning will take the winnings from the card game. It’s only when Jeremy is locked in the old room that he begins to think that there may be more to the old house than he thought.

About The Director
Joss Maines is a filmmaker from London debuting his first horror short, The Wager. Joss started his career as an intern at Pinewood Studios, before moving into broadcast and learning his trade as an editor cutting television commercials and music videos. After spending 20 years crafting his skills in the edit suite, he is now venturing behind the camera as a director and returning to his first love, film.
